The Maya Beanie




Good morning lovlies, and a warm welcome to day 9.
I hope everyone is going great with their goals and having fun with all the new patterns.
Today's is something simple but cute and easy to remember. It has only 10 rounds too, making it super fast!

The Maya Beanie

Finished Measurements:
14cm at the widest point across
11.5cm from top to bottom

Sized To Fit: 
32-34 Weeks Gestation

You Will Need:
4mm hook
8ply/light worsted/DK weight 3 yarn. I used King Cole CottonSoft.

1. ch2, dc in the first chain 8 times, join.

2. ch2, dc in the same stitch, *2dc in each stitch around, join. (16)

3. ch2, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next stitch* repeat around, join. (24)

4. ch2, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 2 stitches*, repeat around, join. (32)

5. ch2, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 3 stitches*, repeat around, join. (40)

6. ch2, dc in the same stitch, 2dc in the next stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch*, repeat around, join.

7. ch2. dc in the same stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch*, repeat around until you have 3 stitches left, skip 2, 2sc in the last stitch.

8. slst one, ch2, dc in the same stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch*, repeat around, join.

9. Repeat round 7

10. slst once, hdc 4 times in the next stitch, *slst in the next 3 stitches, 4hdc in the next stitch*

End off and weave in tails.
